About

Chef Scotley Innis

The Story

A New York native with Jamaican roots, Chef Scotley Innis developed his culinary foundation across luxury hospitality, Southern cuisine, French technique, and Caribbean comfort food traditions.

Born in the Bronx and raised between New York and Jamaica, his culinary perspective was shaped by the balance of heritage, technique, and storytelling — blending bold Caribbean flavor with refined culinary execution and immersive hospitality experiences.

His experience spans some of Atlanta's premier restaurants and hospitality destinations, national television appearances including Hell's Kitchen and Chopped, and now ownership of Continent Brooklyn and ALIYA Cocktail Den at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg — while leading the culinary program for seasonal waterfront restaurant, Six Coasts by Smorgasburg in New York City.

"Heritage is the recipe. Technique is the discipline. Hospitality is the ceremony."

Today, his platform extends far beyond the kitchen: restaurants, cultural hospitality experiences, media, partnerships, and culinary storytelling shaped by flavor, identity, and connection.
